MOGLIA – Sta per concludersi il progetto di cablaggio in tecnologia FTTH e FTTC del territorio comunale di Moglia, importante crocevia per il collegamento fra la provincia di Mantova e quelle di Modena e Reggio Emilia. Preceduto nel settembre 2020 dalla realizzazione dell’infrastruttura della tratta a lunga distanza Moglia-Reggiolo, di cui Mynet è unico operatore proprietario, l’intervento che si chiude in queste ultime settimane dell’anno, partito nel mese di febbraio, collega alla banda ultralarga il centro abitato del capoluogo e della frazione principale di Bondanello; oltre 25 i chilometri di dorsale posati da Mynet con tecniche di scavo innovative a bassissimo impatto ambientale.
L’intervento delle squadre della società di telecomunicazioni ha previsto, nello specifico, il rilegamento in fibra ottica FTTH (Fiber To The Home, vera fibra ottica fin dentro l’edificio) di tutte le sedi scolastiche: le giunzioni risultano già ultimate e dal 2022 alunni, insegnanti e personale scolastico potranno finalmente navigare sul web fino ad una velocità di 1 Gigabit/s; le sedi municipali raggiungeranno invece fino a 200 Mbit/s simmetrici di velocità (sia in dowload che in upload). A questo si aggiunge il completamento dell’infrastruttura in fibra ottica, che resterà di proprietà del Comune, a supporto del sistema di videosorveglianza del capoluogo.
Per quanto riguarda gli utenti privati, sono in fase di realizzazione undici armadi FTTC (Fiber To The Cabinet – fibra ottica fino all’armadio stradale) tra Moglia e Bondanello, che offrono come servizio base e disponibile a tutti la connessione in fibra misto rame con velocità fino a 300 Mbit/s in download e 40 Mbit/s in upload; per le utenze private fino a 50 metri di distanza dalla rete di accesso in fibra è inoltre possibile sfruttare l’opportunità di navigare fino a 1 Gigabit/s.
Oltre una sessantina sono le utenze business già contrattualizzate in modalità FTTH: numero destinato rapidamente a crescere insieme alle prime attivazioni e al conseguente passaparola.
