E quello che brucia è che ancora nel dicembre scorso avevamo detto agli alleati che avremmo voluto correre con un nostro candidato al primo turno, che era stato individuato in Nicola Sodano, e poi convergere su un unico candidato al secondo turno, perchè capivamo che Mantova aveva bisogno di un candidato moderato e Stefano Rossi era troppo sbilanciato sul sovranismo, oltre ad essere una persona politicamente impreparata visto che non aveva alle spalle alcuna esperienza politica come lui stesso del resto ha tante volte sostenuto. E i nostri elettori ci hanno punito per questo: Forza Italia ha perso 800 voti” dichiara la coordinatrice forzista.
Ma perchè allora, le chiediamo, avete poi deciso di sostenere Rossi?
“Perchè Lega e Fratelli d’Italia insistevano sull’importanza dell’unità della coalizione e quindi abbiamo preferito salvare questa unità che per noi era comunque un valore” sottolinea Anna Lisa Baroni che dichiara: “in tutte le altre elezioni i candidati erano sempre stati di area Forza Italia e mai c’era stato un risultato così disastroso”
