MANTOVA – La Cgil di Mantova ricorda la figura di Jolanda Dugoni, unica deportata mantovana nel campo di sterminio nazista di Ravensbruck dal 1942 all’aprile del 1945 in Germania e venuta a mancare nel luglio del 2019, all’età di 94 anni. L’evento è in programma per il 27 gennaio, alle ore 9 in Sala Motta nella sede della Camera del Lavoro, in occasione della Giornata della Memoria, voluta dall’Onu per commemorare le vittime dell’Olocausto figlio della follia nazifascista.
A ricostruire la storia di Jolanda saranno Carla Bignotti, già docente di storia e filosofia, e il giornalista Emanuele Salvato introdotti da Donata Negrini della Segreteria Cgil di Mantova e Rita Bonizzi della sezione Anpi Cgil di Mantova.
Bignotti e Salvato nel corso del 2020 hanno fatto parte del gruppo di ricerca coordinato dall’Istituto Mantovano di Storia Contemporanea – al quale hanno partecipato anche il professor Carlo Benfatti, Luigi Benevelli dell’Anpi, la docente Josephine Autelitano, Daniela Ferrari dell’Istituto Mantovano di Storia Contemporanea, Eugenio Iafrate dell’Aned – che ha ricostruito la storia e la vita di Jolanda Dugoni illustrata in un convegno svoltosi lo scorso 11 novembre nella Sala delle Capriate di piazza Alberti. In particolare Carla Bignotti ha ripercorso le tappe principali della vita della Dugoni ed Emanuele Salvato ha avuto modo di intervistarla nel 2011 focalizzandosi sui drammatici giorni della prigionia e dell’internamento. Da questa lunga video intervista, riproposta anche nel libro “Viaggio della Memoria – 2006-2010: visite d’istruzione nei campi di sterminio di Ravensbruck, Auschwitz, Mauthausen, Terezin, Natzweiler-Struthof” pubblicato dall’assessorato alle politiche sociali della Provincia di Mantova, sono stati estrapolati alcuni clip significativi che verranno riproposti nel corso dell’incontro di giovedì in Sala Motta.
