Muore investito dal treno vicino a Poggio Rusco

POGGIO RUSCO – Tragedia ferroviaria questa sera sulla linea Verona-Bologna non lontano da Poggio Rusco, nel tratto tra il comune mantovano e Mirandola.
Dalle prime informazioni pare che un uomo alle 19,50 sia stato investito e ucciso dal treno Eurocity 87 che da Monaco di Baviera era diretto a Bologna.
Sul posto è stato subito richiesto l’intervento delle autorità competenti tra cui gli agenti della Polfer. Le indagini sono ancora in atto ma con ogni probabilità si tratterebbe di un suicidio, visto che la vittima sarebbe sbucata all’improvviso qualche istante prima del passaggio del treno.
Subito la circolazione dei treni sulla linea è stata sospesa provocando forti ritardi della mobilità ferroviaria. E’ ripresa solo alle 21,40 su un unico binario nella tratta interessata, con rallentamenti fino a 60 minuti.
