MANTOVA – Importante riconoscimento per la scrittrice mantovana Maria Beatrice Genovesi a cui è stato conferito il Premio Letterario Casentino per il suo ultimo libro “Io ed Elsa” dedicato a Elsa Schiapparelli, uno dei nomi più importanti della moda che si affermò sulla scena internazionale negli anni ’30.
In particolare la Commissione della 47° edizione del Premio Letterario
– sezione narrativa / saggistica edita – ha deciso di conferire il riconoscimento all’autrice mantovana, dopo attento esame del testo, la Segnalazione Particolare della Giuria – Opera grafica e diploma.
“Sono molto contenta di questo riconoscimento. Credo che la commissione abbia particolarmente apprezzato la ricostruzione storica che viene fatta nel libro il quale non si limita a un racconto della vita di Elsa Schiapparelli ma approfondisce il mondo culturale e politico che l’ha circondata” afferma Maria Beatrice Genovesi.
La premiazione avverrà durante la cerimonia che si terrà
sabato 17 settembre nell’Abbazia di San Fedele in Poppi (Ar), alla presenza
dei componenti della Giuria e dei rappresentanti del mondo artistico e letterario italiano.
Il “Casentino” è uno dei più antichi premi letterari italiani. Fu istituito infatti negli anni ’40, poi sospeso a causa della guerra, e quindi ripreso negli anni ’70 sotto la gestione del Centro Culturale Michelangelo e poi del Centro Culturale Fonte Aretusa.
