MANTOVA – Grande soddisfazione in casa Mantova per il momento che sta attraversando la squadra di Possanzini: biancorossi primi in classifica con 47 punti e 36 gol fatti. Un cammino impressionante che nessuno avrebbe mai potuto immaginare a inizio stagione. La squadra virgiliana a Legnago ha confermato di poter meritare ampiamente il primato e dopo il meritato riposo si metterà al lavoro per la pratica Padova. L’8 gennaio all’Euganeo la super sfida della prima giornata di ritorno. Intanto il presidente Filippo Piccoli ha fatto un primo bilancio sulla stagione della sua squadra spaziando sui diversi argomenti. Compreso quello dello stadio, un tema piuttosto spinoso che ha aperto un botta e risposta con il Comune, che proprio prima di Natale ha preso contatti diretti con la Lega di Serie B per capire quali saranno i criteri infrastrutturali da rispettare per l’iscrizione al prossimo campionato in cadetteria. Serie B che il Mantova deve ancora conquistare. Chissà che l’arrivo di Bombagi possa dare ulteriore linfa a tutto l’ambiente e garantire maggior qualità nelle sfide più delicate del girone di ritorno. Chi lo sa, magari proprio dalla sfida con il Padova.
Intanto i tifosi virgiliani si stanno preparando per la supersfida contro i biancoscudati. Più di 500 biglietti venduti dei 2000 messi a dispsizione del Padova. Manca ancora molto prima della chiusura della prevendita, ma ci si aspetta un esodo massiccio di tifosi mantovani.
