MANTOVA – Sono tre i mantovani che fino ad oggi hanno contratto il vaiolo delle scimmie. Sono tutti e tre già guariti e quindi per loro è terminato l’isolamento domiciliare a cui erano stati costretti. Per nessuno dei tre le condizioni infatti erano tali da richiedere il ricovero in ospedale.
Ed è proprio legata al basso numero di casi registrati finora nel territorio virgiliano la mancata distribuzione della prima tranche di vaccini all’Asst di Mantova. Vaccini, in tutto 2000, che sono stati invece consegnati oggi ad altri 10 presidi sanitari lombardi (il criterio di ripartizione sul territorio regionale segue l’andamento dell’epidemia con il 70% dei casi residenti a Milano).
Da domani, mercoledì 10 agosto, come comunica la Direzione Generale Welfare di Regione Lombardia, sarà possibile prenotarsi, a partire dalle ore 12, sul portale regionale per la vaccinazione contro il vaiolo delle scimmie (https://prenotasalute.regione.lombardia.it). I vaccini verranno somministrati dai ‘Centri per la prevenzione delle Infezioni Sessualmente Trasmesse’ (centri Ist/Mts) delle Asst/Irccs lombarde e le prime dosi di vaccino ‘Jynneos’ verranno inoculate a partire da domani, mercoledì 10 agosto, e saranno erogate a persone diverse.
Successivamente Aria (l’Azienda Regionale per l’Innovazione e gli Acquisti) attiverà un sistema di raccolta di prenotazione in previsione dell’arrivo di ulteriori vaccini.
Prima della vaccinazione un medico effettuerà l’anamnesi per verificare la presenza di controindicazioni e la rispondenza ai requisiti definiti dal Ministero della Salute per la vaccinazione, in base alle dichiarazioni del soggetto.
L’offerta è infatti indirizzata al personale di laboratorio con possibile esposizione diretta al virus e a persone gay, transgender, bisessuali e altri uomini che hanno rapporti sessuali con uomini (MSM) e che hanno avuto comportamenti sessuali a rischio:
– storia recente con più partner sessuali
– partecipazione a eventi di sesso di gruppo
– partecipazione a incontri sessuali in locali, club, cruising, saune
– recente infezione sessualmente trasmessa (almeno un episodio nell’ultimo anno)
– abitudine alla pratica di associare gli atti sessuali al consumo di droghe chimiche (Chemsex).
Avere già ricevuto una vaccinazione di vaiolo è condizione di esclusione.
Indicativamente sono da accettare solo vaccinandi con meno di 45 anni.
“Oltre all’azione di profilassi – ha commentato la vicepresidente e assessore al Welfare – attraverso la vaccinazione che partirà con le prime 2.000 dosi, per controllare la diffusione dei contagi sarà importante l’azione di informazione su eventuali comportamenti a rischio e le precauzioni da prendere a livello individuale”. “Per questo – conclude la vicepresidente – ringrazio le associazioni del terzo settore coinvolte nell’Unità di coordinamento che mettono a disposizione in questo campo un importante bagaglio di esperienza. Un grazie anche alla rete di prevenzione delle malattie infettive della Lombardia che si è prontamente attivata per monitorare la diffusione del vaiolo delle scimmie, anche isolando e sequenziando il virus, e che adesso gestisce la fase operativa della vaccinazione”.
Intanto al Pronto Soccorso dell’ospedale Carlo Poma di Mantova sono scattati attenti controlli nei confronti dei pazienti che lamentano sintomi correlabili all’infezione Monkeypox. Anche oggi non sono mancati alcuni casi per i quali si è esclusa poi l’infezione. Proprio al Pronto Soccorso del Poma si sta tra l’altro organizzando l’allestimento di un percroso dedicato proprio per il vaiolo delle scimmie con l’apertura di un ambulatorio ad hoc.
