Il mantovano Bruno Tabacci è il nuovo sottosegretario al coordinamento della politica economica del Governo Draghi.
La nomina del deputato quistellese era nell’aria da qualche giorno visto che è stato uno dei fautori della costituzione della nuova maggioranza.
I rapporti tra il Premier Draghi e Bruno Tabacci, oggi leader del Centro Democratico, sono di vecchia data. Nel 1983 è stato proprio Tabacci a proporre Mario Draghi come giovane consulente dell’allora Ministro del Tesoro Giovanni Goria.
Ma chi è Bruno Tabacci?
Bruno Tabacci, nato a Quistello nel 1946 si è laureato in Economia e Commercio all’Università degli Studi di Parma, e ha lavorato come consulente libero professionista in materia economico-finanziaria. Nella prima metà degli anni ottanta ha diretto l’ufficio studi del Ministero dell’industria, del commercio e dell’artigianato con Giovanni Marcora e, in seguito, la segreteria tecnica del Ministero del tesoro con Giovanni Goria.
Consigliere regionale DC (1985-1991) e presidente della Regione Lombardia (1987-1989)
Deputato DC (1992-1994)
È stato consigliere d’amministrazione di Eni, Snam, Efibanca.
Nel periodo 1999-2000 è stato presidente dell’Autostrada A15 Cisa.
Nel gennaio 1998 torna in politica ed è vicesegretario dell’UDR di Cossiga, uscendone in ottobre per aderire al CCD di Casini.
