MANTOVA – C’è grande fermento per la Marcia della Pace che si terrà nel capoluogo virgiliano domenica 29 gennaio prossimo con lo slogan “Pace: I Care”. Dopo due anni in cui la tradizionale marcia è stata trasferita sul web, causa covid, l’evento tornerà nelle strade del centro di Mantova, con ritrovo alle ore 15 in piazza Martiri di Belfiore e arrivo in piazza Sordello, con una tappa intermedia davanti alla basilica di S. Andrea.
Nelle tre tappe saranno proposte riflessioni, testimonianze ed animazioni a cura di alcuni dei gruppi/associazioni organizzatori. Una particolare attenzione verrà rivolta al tema dell’educazione e all’esperienza di tutti coloro che lavorano quotidianamente con bambini, ragazzi e giovani.
Nella tappa finale di piazza Sordello la band Lacio Drom concluderà in musica il pomeriggio.
Ma perché una marcia della pace? “Le marce – osservano gli organizzatori -, per dirla con Aldo Capitini, ideatore nel 1961 della Perugia-Assisi, “aggiungono altro: sono un accomunamento dal basso e nel modo più elementare, che perciò unisce tutti, nessuno escludendo; sono un’estrinsecazione fisica, disciplinando il corpo ad un’idea che si serve pensando a tutti, non sono di combattimento ma di apertura…”.”
E proprio l’accomunamento e l’apertura sono le peculiarità di questa iniziativa che ha messo insieme realtà diverse, laiche e religiose, come la Diocesi di Mantova, l’Agesci, il CNGEI, Amnesty International (Gruppo Italia 79), l’Azione Cattolica, la Comunità Bahà’i, il Gruppo In Silenzio per la pace, Mantova per la pace, la Comunità Laudato Si’ di Mantova,
Fridays for future, l’Agorà delle religioni e l’Istituto Buddista Soka Gakka.
“Realtà diverse accomunate dalla volontà di cercare risposte non violente alle troppe guerre combattute sul pianeta, alle tante situazioni di oppressione e negazione dei diritti in molti paesi, alla crisi climatica, fonte di conflitti e causa di dolorose migrazioni. Non si tratta quindi di negare i conflitti – proseguono gli organizzatori -, che esistono a tutti i livelli, da quello interpersonale a quello famigliare, dalla politica nazionale sino alle grandi tensioni internazionali, ma di cercare mezzi coerenti ai fini di pace che si vogliono perseguire, attraverso la vicinanza alle vittime, il riconoscimento dei diritti fondamentali e la ricerca di soluzioni diverse dalla guerra. Il sanguinoso conflitto in Ucraina, la situazione di violenta repressione del dissenso esistente in Iran e in Afghanistan, per citare esempi di drammatica attualità, ci chiamano a ribaltare l’antica locuzione latina, “si vis pacem, para bellum”, in un impegno a volere la pace, preparando la pace. Ci sembra che il modo migliore per preparare la pace sia quello di prendersi a cuore gli altri, del prendersi cura del prossimo, costruendo relazioni significative, aperte all’ascolto, alla comprensione e alla condivisione. Il primo passo per la Pace è il nostro “I Care””.
