Ponti, i valori della memoria e della libertà a ricordo della Battaglia di Monte Casale

PONTI SUL MINCIO – Un discorso ispirato ai valori della memoria, come dovere di ricordare e di tramandare alle future generazioni quanto avvenne 75 anni fa con la liberazione dall’occupazione nazifascista, e della libertà. Quella libertà per la quale tanti sono caduti durante l’ultima guerra e di cui oggi, in questi tempi di privazione della libertà a causa dell’emergenza sanitaria, abbiamo capito davvero il significato.

Sono i due principi su cui il sindaco di Ponti sul Mincio Massimiliano Rossi questa mattina ha incentrato il suo discorso durante la cerimonia per il 75esimo anniversario della Battaglia di Monte Casale, l’ultima a essere combattuta sul suolo italiano nel secondo conflitto bellico.
La cerimonia è stata ovviamente ristretta per via delle disposizioni dovute all’emergenza Covid, ma ha mantenuto intatto tutto il suo significato e forse, proprio per la condizione di libertà privata a cui sono costretti i cittadini, ha assunto un valore ancora più alto.
