“Un tributo alla black music”: Daria Biancardi & Groove city il 25 maggio a Villa La Favorita

MANTOVA – “Un tributo alla black music”, questo il titolo dello spettacolo in programma il 25 maggio, alle ore 21.15, a Villa “La Favorita” di Porto Mantovano. Protagonista saranno Daria Biancardi & Groove city.  L’evento si inserisce nel cartellone dell’Associazione Culturale “Disanima Piano”.

Il concerto è un viaggio nel tempo della grande musica. La cantante siciliana, grazie ad una voce esplosiva e ad una interpretazione intensa e viscerale, trascinerà il pubblico nel passato, rendendo il giusto omaggio a brani storici delle regine del blues e del soul: Etta James, Ann Peebles, Tina Turner, Koko Taylor, Laura Lee, Candi Staton e tante altre. Uno dei punti di forza sarà l’esecuzione dei brani della straordinaria carriera artistica di Aretha Franklin, assoluta protagonista non solo della scena musicale ma anche della cultura, del costume degli afroamericani, sempre in prima linea in difesa dei diritti civili e nella lotta per l’emancipazione femminile.

Daria Biancardi, contraddistinta da passione e talento, ha una lunga carriera alle spalle tra Italia e Stati Uniti; ha partecipato a diversi talent, vincendo nel 2020 “All Together Now – la supersfida” su Canale 5, commuovendo pubblico e giuria.
