TORINO – “Sarebbe una follia riaprire a pochi giorni dal Natale, oggi non ci sono le condizioni per andare a scuola in sicurezza. Ricordiamoci che i ragazzi che affollano gli autobus sono gli stessi che poi trascorrono le festività con i genitori e con i nonni. Non possiamo permetterci di correre un rischio del genere”. A dirlo il presidente della Regione Piemonte, Alberto Cirio, in un’intervista a “La Stampa” in cui sottolinea che in vista del Natale “l’atteggiamento prudenziale è l’unico che ci consente di stabilizzare i risultati raggiunti. Detto questo, penso sia possibile ragionare su una soluzione di buon senso che consenta gli spostamenti per raggiungere i parenti e gli affetti più stretti e li impedisca in tutti gli altri casi”.
Sulla riapertura delle piste da sci “il dibattito con il governo è ancora aperto. Insieme alle altre regioni montane ho sottoposto a Roma delle linee guida per la riapertura degli impianti in sicurezza perchè si tratta di un settore trainante della nostra economia. Se si riterrà che non ci sono le condizioni, chiediamo ristori certi e una linea comune europea, con la chiusura delle piste anche in Francia, Slovenia e Austria”.
Il Piemonte è in zona arancione, ma “non possiamo dire di aver vinto la battaglia. Abbiamo già visto che cosa significa abbassare la guardia troppo in fretta: il Natale non può essere una copia dell’estate, nessuno in Italia può più permettersi passi falsi. Per questo da noi le riaperture saranno accompagnate da misure estremamente rigorose”.
