MANTOVA Controlli, ronde, sopralluoghi… Non bastano. La percezione di insicurezza viene colta dalla Questura che d’intesa con l’amministrazione comunale ha dato seguito a una serie di ispezioni condividendo un percorso speciale mirato a ciò che un tempo si sarebbe detto “il quieto vivere”.
Neanche dirlo, lo strumento che si è dimostrato più efficace per contenere gli episodi di disturbo sono le telecamere, di cui peraltro Mantova si è dimostrata punta di eccellenza sull’intero suolo nazionale, essendo in testa fra i capoluoghi italiani nel rapporto fra gli abitanti e i sistemi di videosorveglianza.
Ancora in questi giorni si sono intensificati i controlli e valutate le possibilità di installare nuovi impianti. Nell’imminenza, gli occhi sono puntati sul centro storico. In particolare, le due Pescherie giuliesche, che a detta dello stesso assessore alla sicurezza Iacopo Rebecchi diventeranno “sorvegliate speciali”. Il sopralluogo tra via Pescheria e il lungorio risale a martedì scorso. Una presa visione concertata tra Polizia locale, Questura e naturalmente, trattandosi di area di interesse storico-monumentale, Sovrintendenza; il tutto al fine di individuare i punti in cui mettere le telecamere di videosorveglianza; tanto avverrà a breve sotto i due portici e nei giardini cosiddetti “Viola”.
Quando? «Prima dell’estate – assicura Rebecchi –, quando tornano più frequenti i casi di ubriachezza molesta. I fondi sono già stati destinati dalla giunta comunale nella variazione di bilancio del 30 aprile scorso».
Insieme con la Questura il Comune ha valutato altri luoghi nevralgici nei quali installare le telecamere «urgentemente». In testa, il porticato di galleria Ferri, presso la ex Bnl, con occhio esteso su piazza Cavallotti; quindi, anche in piazza Concordia, piazza Broletto e piazza Erbe, come già anticipato dalla Voce di Mantova.
Dal canto suo, la Polizia locale è già al lavoro per realizzare la progettazione il più velocemente possibile. «Con le telecamere alle Pescherie tutte le forze dell’ordine e la Polizia locale potranno verificare se sono presenti gli ubriachi molesti e gli altri soliti disturbatori della zona per intervenire, per identificarli e, nel caso, allontanarli – aggiunge l’assessore –. Nei pressi delle Peschierie avremo telecamere sia sotto i portici che nei giardini attigui, dove soprattutto nei periodi caldi spesso le panchine vengono occupate da ubriachi molesti».
Nel frattempo le telecamere installate nei Giardini Nuvolari, assieme agli interventi ripetuti delle forze dell’ordine, «stanno dando ottimi risultati in quanto sono spariti i soggetti dediti allo spaccio riportando tranquillità nei giardini. Non verrà però abbassata la guardia», conclude Rebecchi.
