Il V-day è arrivato: oggi al Poma partono le vaccinazioni contro il Covid

MANTOVA –Il V-day è arrivato.  Oggi le prime dosi del farmaco prodotto dalla Pfizer-Biontech saranno somministrate simbolicamente in diversi ospedali della Penisola eletti a hub del proprio territorio, tra questi l’ospedale Carlo Poma di Mantova dove dalle ore 15 prenderanno il via le vaccinazioni che interesseranno una settantina di operatori sanitari e, come allo Spallanzani di Roma sarà l’infermiera 29enne Claudia Alivernini la prima a essere vaccinata, anche a Mantova il primo a ricevere il vaccino anti-Covid sarà un infermiere: si tratta del 41enne Ellery Margonari, residente a Levata, che lavora in rianimazione nell’ospedale cittadino.
‘L’Italia rinasce con un fiore’ – sarà la primula a caratterizzare il design dei padiglioni per le vaccinazioni – è lo slogan scelto dal ministero della Salute.
In una prima fase, i mezzi e gli aeromobili militari contribuiscono a distribuire le prime 9.750 dosi recapitandole a destinazione. L’Arma dei carabinieri fornisce il servizio di scorta ai movimenti via terra. Le dosi, stoccate in una prima fase all’ospedale Spallanzani di Roma, vengono poi distribuite nelle altre Regioni per consentire all’intero Paese di partecipare, oggi al ‘Vaccine day’ europeo.

Il piano prevede l’utilizzo di 11 aerei, 73 elicotteri e oltre 360 autoveicoli. L’organizzazione logistica contempla anche l’utilizzo degli shelter frigo in dotazione alla Difesa. Per entrambe le tipologie di vaccini, in accordo alle richieste del servizio sanitario regionale e locale, la Difesa prevede di costituire, inoltre, delle postazioni vaccinali fissi e mobili (Presidi Vaccinali Difesa-PVD) attraverso la riconversione dei ‘Drive Through Difesa’, attualmente operativi in tutta Italia per effettuare i tamponi e contribuire, insieme al ministero della Salute, all’attivita’ di screening. Su richiesta, il personale sanitario delle Forze Armate sarà disponibile per eventuale somministrazione anche con team mobili nelle Rsa o a domicilio per i cittadini con difficoltà motorie.

L’arrivo delle prime dosi di vaccino è uno “spiraglio di luce”, ha detto il commissario straordinario all’emergenza Covid, Domenico Arcuri, a RaiNews 24.
“Nei prossimi mesi continueremo questa campagna – ha affermato Arcuri – per portare il nostro paese, nei tempi in cui sarà possibile, fuori da questa emergenza”.

Non appena saranno disponibili i vaccini di tipo ‘cold’ delle altre case farmaceutiche (AstraZeneca, Moderna, etc), le Forze Armate, in base alle indicazioni fornite dal Commissario straordinario, saranno impegnate nel trasporto logistico su tutto il territorio nazionale.
