VIADANA – Il Comune di Viadana aderisce anche quest’anno al progetto 18Plus rivolto a tutte le ragazze e ragazzi nati nel 2005 e che nel corso del 2023 diventeranno maggiorenni.
Un progetto anticipato da una lettera inviata ai cittadini che quest’anno compiono 18 anni dal sindaco Nicola Cavatorta: messaggio dove spiega che questo è per loro l’anno che apre la strada al voto e al confronto con il mondo delle istituzioni e della politica, temi spesso visti con diffidenza ma che rappresentano il modo per rendere il mondo in cui viviamo più simile a noi. La lettera contiene inoltre un invito per incontrarsi tutti insieme sabato 1 aprile alle ore 10.30 presso la sala consigliare del municipio di Viadana (piazza Matteotti, 2): sarà l’occasione per scambiare qualche pensiero e condividere informazioni utili che un giorno potranno servire.
Ai nati nel 2005 verrà inoltre consegnata singolarmente una copia della Costituzione Italiana.
Gli obiettivi del momento di sabato 1° aprile sono quelli di fare incontrare i neo diciottenni con l’amministrazione locale; far comprendere che il presente del paese in cui vivono dipende anche dalla loro visione, che esprimono con il loro voto e con il loro contributo in termini di come “abitano” il paese (in modo passivo, in modo attivo, mettendoci o non mettendoci cura e passione); far comprendere che il loro comportamento genera cambiamento, anche sui coetanei; fare sperimentare, almeno al gruppetto dei giovani che accetterà un ingaggio più attivo, l’incontro con le realtà più significative del territorio (associazioni, uffici); creare le premesse per successive occasioni di dialogo e ingaggio da parte delle singole associazioni con i giovani del territorio coinvolti.
Diverse scuole hanno aderito all’iniziativa: l’elenco al link https://www.informagiovani.mn.it/p/616/18plus.html, tra queste gli studenti dell’Istituto Sanfelice che parteciperanno all’evento in municipio saranno considerati presenti fuori sede e quindi non necessiteranno della giustifica per la giornata del 1° aprile.
