Partita la riorganizzazione degli ospedali mantovani. Si ipotizza un recupero del 60-70 per cento dell’attività pre-Covid.

MANTOVA – Gli ospedali mantovani si riorganizzano per affrontare i prossimi mesi in cui viene dato quasi per certo che bisognerà convivere con la presenza del Covid.
All’ospedale Carlo Poma vi sarà un’area Covid dove saranno curati i malati con sintomi derivanti dal contagio e poi ci saranno reparti protetti, ovvero dove i pazienti contagiati saranno messi nelle condizioni di non infettare e dove chi invece risulta negativo può stare sicuro di non infettarsi. Tutti i pazienti quindi in ingresso dovranno essere trattati come potenziali positivi e sottoposti a tampone.
Al Pronto Soccorso si procederà a fare i tamponi per le urgenze mentre i pazienti programmati che sono la maggioranza dovranno seguire un percorso pre-ricovero durante il quale sarà effettuato il tampone.
La riorganizzazione è già partita per l’ostetricia dove tutte le donne gravide vengono infatti già sottoposte a tampone.
Intanto sono ripartite anche le sale operatorie solamente però con gli interventi d’urgenza.
Nelle prossime settimane partiranno anche gli altri interventi.
L’ospedale di Pieve di Coriano sarà invece completamente no Covid. E’ prevista un’area di degenza sia medica che chirurgica per i casi dubbi provenienti dal Pronto Soccorso che devono avere ancora la risposta del tampone.
Al contrario l’ospedale di Asola sarà riservato interamente ai pazienti Covid ma ormai prossimi alle dimissioni. Al Pronto Soccorso sono previsti però dei posti per i casi in attesa del responso del tampone.
A Viadana lunedì prossimo aprirà la degenza di sorveglianza per pazienti Covid in buone discrete condizioni e quindi autosufficienti. Una volta che tale degenza non sarà più necessaria, il presidio di Viadana si trasformerà in un Ospedale di Comunità diventando un Pot, dunque un Presidio Ospedaliero Territoriale.
Anche Bozzolo, dove è prevista la creazione di due blocchi, una destinata ai pazienti Covid e l’altra a quelli negativi, sarà.  un Pot
La riorganizzazione degli ospedali non potrà ovviamente far recuperare l’intera attività che veniva normalmente esplicata prima dell’emergenza sanitaria. Si calcola che si riuscirà a recuperare dal 60 al 7’% dell’attività preesistente.
